Granite and quartz countertops are the most favored surfacing materials on the market. Beautiful, rugged, hygienic, and easy to maintain, these materials stand at the top for good reason—and they’ll continue to stand there for years to come, even if modern materials become more competitive.

Whether you covet the beauty of natural stone or prefer the enhanced durability of quartz, IDC has the countertop for you. At our showroom in Burnsville near Minneapolis, Minnesota, we have displays to inspire your design and countertop samples that you can take home.

Our design consultants can help you choose the color, finish, edge profile, and details for your new kitchen or bathroom countertops. We understand that it’s not enough that your kitchen and bathroom become beautiful and practical in some objective sense—they need to fit your personal aesthetic and functional needs!

Step 1: Countertop Information

Visit our 13,000-square foot countertop showroom in Burnsville with a huge collection of natural stone and quartz surfaces in kitchen and bathroom product displays. You’ll be able to stroll through our indoor, climate-controlled slab selection center, where you can see hundreds of kitchen and bathroom countertop ideas for your home. Imagine being able to actually see and feel your countertop before you buy it for your home in Minnesota!

When considering the best surface for your kitchen or bathroom project, remember the answer is as individual as you are. Granite is the most popular natural stone countertop material because of its natural beauty and uniqueness. Quartz is one of the most durable manufactured countertops on the market and helps keep bacteria from forming due to its smooth surface. We also carry quartzite and solid surface countertops!

Step 2: Measure For Countertops

No one wants to be surprised with extra charges or unforeseen problems. That’s why we collect extremely accurate measurements using our laser measuring system. It scans your new kitchen or bathroom countertop space, taking in curves, angles, sinks, faucets, overhangs, and even the backsplash. This takes the complicated measurements that we need to make your countertops just right. While we measure your countertop space, your personal consultant meets with you again to go over your thoughts and ideas.

Most companies will get you to sign a legally binding contract and collect thousands of dollars from you before they even know who you are or what your home is like. Surprise extra charges mysteriously show up, taking your hard-earned money right from your pocket. That’s not the experience you’ll have with IDC Countertops. Instead, you’ll know the exact price before we collect any money. Our team at IDC Countertops is dedicated to investing the time and resources upfront to make sure you know what you’re investing in and how much it will cost you. You’ll get an exact price, and it won’t change.

Step 3: Solutions & Design

The next step is meeting with your personal countertop consultant in our countertop showroom. They’ll go over your measurements and share a range of solutions for you to choose from, from the most economical to the most upscale options. Then, you choose what works best for you or create your own custom solution. After that, you pick the exact slab of granite, quartz, or other natural stone that will become your countertop. Once you have a broad idea of what your countertop should be, we’ll work out the finer details of your design, such as choosing an edge profile. You can even look at faucets, tile, sinks, and cabinet hardware, all without leaving our showroom.

Step 4: Countertop Production

Now we fabricate your natural stone, quartz, or solid surface countertop using our state-of-the-art fabrication facility. Measurements are fed into our CAD/CAM software to ensure you receive the best possible finished product. We’ll also take care of the legwork if you purchase any enhanced or additional products or services. Then we order, receive, and inspect your countertop material to ensure your high standards are met and exceeded. An IDC Countertops team member will manage your project, coordinating fabrication and our staff who will install your kitchen or bathroom countertop and ensuring that the installation works with your schedule.

Step 5: Countertop Installation Day

Our installers arrive at your home on the day of your countertop installation. They’ll complete their jobs professionally, making sure that your time is respected. Once the countertop installation is complete, they’ll review the work with you and answer any questions you may have. They’ll even clean up after themselves so the only evidence of being there is your beautiful new natural stone or quartz countertop. If the countertop installation takes more than one day, you’ll know it ahead of time so there are no surprises.

Step 6: Your Feedback

Our project management team will reach out to you, asking you to share your experience with us. We want to make sure that we’re meeting the high standards for service that we promised you. Providing our customers with top-quality natural stone and quartz countertops, and top-of-the-line service is our mission at IDC Countertops.
