Countertops Installation in MN

Countertop Installation Process

From measuring day in your home, to the day we install your countertops, your designer will discuss every idea, concern, and special request you may have.

1. Information

Our 13,000-square foot showroom includes a huge collection of natural stone and quartz in kitchen and bathroom product displays. Browse our indoor, climate controlled slab selection center, with hundreds of countertop ideas for your home. Imagine being able to actually see and feel your countertop before you buy it.

When considering the best surface for you, remember the answer is as individual as you are. Granite is the most popular natural stone countertop material because of its natural beauty and uniqueness. Quartz is one of the most durable manufactured countertops on the market and helps keep bacteria from forming due to its smooth surface.

At the Inspiration Design Center, you’ll work with:

  • Knowledgeable countertop designers that can help you choose the best countertops for your unique needs.
  • Professional staff installers (not subcontractors) that make your countertops look fantastic and adhere to our painstaking standards of quality.

2. Measure

No one wants to be surprised with extra charges or unforeseen problems. At the Inspiration Design Center, we take extremely accurate measurements using our laser measuring system. It scans your new countertop space, taking in curves, angles, sinks, faucets, overhangs and even the backsplash.

The laser system provides the precise measurements needed to make your countertops a perfect fit. While the measurement takes place, your personal consultant meets with you to go over your thoughts and ideas.

Most companies require a legally binding contract and thousands of dollars down before they know you and your home. Extra charges mysteriously show up, taking hard-earned money from your pocket.

At IDC, you’ll know the exact price before we receive a dime. We invest the time and resources up front to make sure you know exactly what you’re paying for. We provide an exact price that won’t change.

3. Solutions & Design

The next step is meeting with your personal consultant in our showroom. Our consultant goes over your measurements and share a range of solutions for you to choose from, from the most economical to the most premium. Then, you choose what works best for you, or create your own custom solution. After that, you pick the exact slab of natural stone that will become your countertop. You can even look at faucets, tile, sinks and cabinet hardware without leaving our showroom.

4. Countertop Production

Now we fabricate using our state-of-the-art fabrication facility. Measurements are fed into our CAD/CAM based equipment to ensure you receive the best possible finished product. We take care of the legwork if you purchase any enhanced or additional products or services. In addition, our material is ordered, received and inspected to make sure your high standards are met and exceeded. One of our team heads up the project, coordinating fabrication and coordinating our staff who will install your countertop in your home, making sure that installation works with your schedule.

5. Installation Day

Our installers arrive at your home on installation day. The installation team completes their jobs professionally, ensuring that your time is respected. Once the work is complete, they’ll review the work with you and answer any questions you have. The only evidence of the IDC team being there is your beautiful new natural stone countertop. If the installation takes more than 1 day, you’ll know it ahead of time so there are no surprises.

6. Your Feedback

Our project management team will ask you to share your experience with us. We want to make sure that we’re meeting the high standards for service that we promised.
